What is Jamstack?
According to its developers, Jamstack is an architectural approach for web development that helps improve the flexibility, scalability, performance, and maintainability of products by separating the “business logic” from web experience and development.
Jamstack was created by the San Francisco-based company Netlify. They took their cloud-native approach to web development architecture and developed Jamstack by combining client-side JavaScript , reusable APIs, and markup content (in fact, the JAM in Jamstack stands for Javascript, API, and Markup)
In recent years, Jamstack’s popularity has skyrocketed mostly because of its superior web performance as it allows all the pages to be available from the start in the CDN (Content Delivery Network) without the need for complex architectures.
