At Adidas we believe that through sport, we have the power to change lives. Our ambition is to be the best sport brand in the world and with that comes plenty of challenges. We thrive on solving these with the imagination and experience of our incredible teammates. Our team and our work are driven by inclusion and diversity. Here, you'll find people from all over the world, valued for their experience, origins, and perspectives.

The opportunity
We’re looking for 6 UX Writers with different levels of seniority, to join our Experience Design team in Zaragoza, we have opportunities in the following teams.

Lower Funnel

  • In the Lower Funnel area, we provide a seamless, personalized and transparent buying process for our consumers. We understand that people’s time is precious, and we aim to reduce the cognitive load of checkout and payments as much as possible.
  • We analyze consumer insights, Global and Market specific differences, NPS feedback, and analytics data to make user-centered copy and designs to support quick and confident decision making. We measure the impact of these UX improvements, test new experiences and optimize fast.
  • In Lower funnel you will play a crucial part in the Customer Journey and take pride in scoring the winning goal.

CRM Team
Customer Relationship Management is the eco-system designed to handle the core consumer interaction with adidas. CRM is the first contact for consumer authentication, marketing emails such as newsletters, transactional emails such as order confirmations, SMS and push notifications, consumer lifecycle programs, consumer engagement and loyalty programs.
As part of our CRM team, you will be a key player in creating relevant engagement loops to develop members along their lifecycle, leveraging the best of the adidas value proposition and allowing us to create relationships that last.

Category Experince Team
We understand the different consumer needs applied to the context of category experiences (i.e. Running | Football | Training | Lifestyle).
Our aim is to deliver a seamless and coherent consumer experience across all digital touchpoints. With our focus on categories, we create a deep understanding of the consumer needs and uncover business opportunities through ongoing discovery and delivery work. We’re the category experts, working horizontally across the business and enabling premium experiences along the user journey.

Upper Funnel Baseline Team
Upper Funnel is where the vast majority of our consumers land. It's where they browse, get inspired by latest trends and releases, understand products and technologies, to ultimately find the best product for them. Examples of our focus areas are to help customers navigate towards the perfect product, inspire the right level of confidence to come to final decision, and personalize their journey, amongst many others.
Our team designs the baseline of these experiences, for both adidas.com and adidas app on a global scale. We work with web and native product teams to identify the best opportunities to achieve our channels' desired outcomes, and collaborate with many
different internal teams to reach excellence together.
We believe empowered consumers make better choices, have fewer reasons for returns and are more likely to come back.

Your key responsibilities

  • Own the UX writing process end-to-end: from identifying opportunities, exploration, research and validation, to execution and managing the localization process
  • Work closely with product teams to identify new opportunities for iteration and experimentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional product team members across Design, Research, Product, Engineering, to form a holistic UX approach
  • Create and execute on a strategic level, leveraging consumer insights and data but also get hands-on and granular with the details
  • Define and develop an effective blueprint for the UX writing team, drive community initiatives and help combine best practices, people and tools to mature the practice
  • Coordinate closely with language specialists to bring their market-specific knowledge to our UX process
  • Be the users' advocate and ensure their needs are central to UX direction
  • Be a craft leader within the community and help drive the practice forward

  • You’re most at home in an agile/Scrum environment
  • You use content design tools such as Figma, Sketch and Miro
  • You can work independently, but you're also a collaborative and effective communicator, comfortable presenting complex topics and decisions to team members and stakeholders at all levels

  • You have experience with coordinating localization for global audiences
  • You understand and champion accessibility and inclusivity best practices throughout the user journey
  • You’re an expert with experimentation and research; you can test, validate, and iterate on your solutions

  • Possess a detail-oriented mindset, while being able to think holistically
  • Have knowledge or experience with content personalization
  • Experience with product or people management

This role isn’t for you if

  • You prefer working independently, as our UX writers collaborate closely with designers, product owners, developers, and other specialists
  • A fast-paced, agile environment isn’t your natural habitat

Note
We believe in healthy work-life balance; our organization, team, and approaches are always evolving as we learn and grow together towards our shared ambitions.

What you'll get
You’ll get to work in a fast-moving environment and create solutions for our global website, seeing your work making an impact on a scale and in the long-term.

In addition, when we asked our teammates for their favorite things about life at adidas, they said: the collaborative and supportive culture, the amazing team, the sense of pride and purpose in their work. You’ll get all that, plus:

  • Generous employee discount on our brands
  • Fitness activities
  • Opportunity to work for a truly global, multicultural team
